Had to make quite a few changes. I hope this works and doesn't break anything. I couldn't test this with SD-Card playback because I don't have one connected. Note that with this when changing volume without playback the amp briefly gets activated. Although I didn't plan this, I think its nice, as you get some audible feedback to the volume change.
This should fix #189 and it includes my previous (partial) bugfix #188.
